I’ve officially finished my deep dive into hand structures, and the final result is now available. Let’s be honest: the world doesn't need another generic base mesh—it needs an actually useful character blockout that handles the heavy lifting for you.

Most artists struggle with hands because they focus on the fingers and forget the underlying volumes. For this project, I focused entirely on the structural "puzzle" of the hand to ensure it feels organic, and production-ready:
Primary Masses: The solid foundation of the palm and metacarpals.
Fat Pads & Padding: I’ve defined the specific soft-tissue and fat volumes that give the hand its fleshy "read."
Skin Logic: Mapping how the skin wraps and transitions between the hard bone and the soft tissue.

As a BONUS, I’ve included a Fist Blockout created from these exact same objects to prove the structure actually holds up under compression.
